Privacy policy

What we do with the details you send us, and your rights.

Who we are

This site is run by Al Khatib Advertising Requisites Trading Co. LLC. We make signs, print and displays in the UAE. TRN 100611093400003.

We decide how your details are used, so we answer for them. To ask us anything about them, email info@alkhatib.ae or call +971 54 742 7430.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote, the form sends us:

  • your name, and your phone number, your email or both;
  • the service you picked and what you wrote about the job;
  • any files you add (up to 3, 4.0 MB in all), like plans, art or photos;
  • a number for your request, so we can find it;
  • how long the form took to fill in, which helps us spot spam bots.

Our web host also keeps basic records of each visit, like your IP address and browser. These help keep the site safe.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply, to send your quote and mockup, and to do the job. You give them to us to ask for a quote, and we use them only for that.

We never sell your details or use your quote request for unrelated mailings. If you separately allow marketing tracking, limited information from a successful enquiry may be used to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads, as explained below.

Who else sees it

We use a few trusted services to run the site:

  • Vercel hosts the site and processes the quote request while it is being sent to us.
  • Resend sends the emails. You get a copy if you gave an email, and so does our team.
  • Google reCAPTCHA may check that a person, not a bot, sent the form.
  • Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, but only if you allow analytics (see below).
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram), but only if you allow marketing tracking.

Some of these services keep data outside the UAE. These services have their own privacy rules. You can read them on their websites.

Analytics, marketing and cookies

We ask you first. You can allow all non-essential tracking, reject it, or manage analytics and marketing separately. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only if you allow analytics. Meta Pixel loads only if you allow marketing. If you reject non-essential tracking, none of these tools loads.

Google Analytics counts visits and shows which pages lead people to get in touch. Microsoft Clarity shows how people move through our pages: where they click and scroll. It hides what you type in forms.

If you allow marketing, Meta Pixel measures visits and actions connected with our Facebook and Instagram ads. When a quote request succeeds, our server may also send Meta a matching Lead event through the Conversions API. For that measurement, contact identifiers such as email or phone are normalised and SHA-256 hashed before they are sent, together with limited technical information such as browser, IP address and Meta measurement cookies. We do not send your project description or uploaded files to Meta.

Your choices are remembered only for your current browsing session, so we will ask again on a new visit. You can change them sooner here, or with “Cookie settings” at the foot of any page. That clears the first-party analytics and marketing measurement cookies we can remove from this site.

How long we keep it

No job? Then we delete your request and files 12 months after we last hear from you.

If the job goes ahead, we keep what we need. We keep it as long as UAE law says we must.

How we keep it safe

The site only works over a secure link (HTTPS). At Al Khatib, only our team sees your request. The services above keep the data safe on their side.

Your rights

Under UAE law, you can ask us to:

  • show you the details we hold about you;
  • fix anything that is wrong;
  • delete your details;
  • stop or limit how we use them;
  • give you a copy you can take elsewhere.

You can change your mind about what you agreed to. Email info@alkhatib.ae and add your reference number if you have it.

Not happy with our answer? You can complain to the UAE Data Office.

Our terms

How a job with us works is in our terms and conditions.
